Back in 1978 you would have paid £17,920 for a 7 berth Winnebago from Wilsons Motor Caravans and an amazing £5,100 for a VW conversion from Richard Holdsworth. Motor Caravan World - the predecessor of Motorhome Monthly - cost just 20 pence a copy, which by a strange quirk of fate is 20p more than you have to pay now! Entrance to the show was £1 and almost thirty years later it is still great value at £5.
Our visitors have been coming year on year since 1978 and use the show as their major social meeting place each year as well as the place to buy their motorhomes and accessories.
Since our first show at Brands Hatch we have re-located a number of times but now we have settled at Stratford-Upon-Avon Racecourse in Warwickshire and The Bath & West Showground in Somerset.
We only allow reputable companies and individuals to exhibit and sell at our shows to ensure the goodwill of our paying guests.
We do not allow private sales at our exhibitions and visitors are discouraged from using ‘for sale’ signs.
Exhibitors range from the mainstay of the show - the motorhome dealers - to accessories, clothing and food.
THE MOTORCARAVAN OF THE YEAR AWARDS
One of the outstanding events at the Motorhome and US RV Show is our annual Motorcaravan Of The Year Award. The competition is judged at the June show at Stratford Upon Avon and the cups are awarded at the September show at the Royal Bath & West Showground, Somerset.
